Another intersection where the lights don't favour cyclists in Cameron at Charles. It is very frustrating to sit there and watch the lights go through several cycles without giving me a green.

In Seattle Washington USA (and the entire state of Washington USA) riding on the sidewalk is legal. A restriction is a requirement to alert pedestrians as you approach from behind to pass. Definitely the smart legislative choice in my opinion. Similar legislation is needed elsewhere - and that is what I told Governor Newsome after he recently vetoed bicycles on sidewalks in California.

For my personal safety, I most often ride on the sidewalk. I bicycle about 3 miles per day. I no longer drive.

Consumers (individuals, organizations, businesses, governments) must promptly minimize their greenhouse gas emissions to bridge the gap while we work on long-term green technology and infrastructure. Less heating and less cooling (none between 13C-30C/55F-85F, https://greenbetween.home.blog). Less driving. Less flying. Less meat-eating. Less population growth (2 children max). Do it yourself. Tenaciously encourage others to do it.
